Firstly, it is worth noting that we as a school will always do our very best to keep the school open.  We understand the disruption it causes to the local community and businesses when schools close.  Of course each school site is different in terms of access and some staff have to travel long distances which can contribute to school closure. 

Unless you hear otherwise please assume school is open.  However, there may be a time when a decision is made to close school.  Communications about school closure will be in the form of information posted on the school website and a text sent to the primary mobile phone number we have on our system.  I will also inform the Nottingham Local radio - BBC Radio Nottingham can be found on 103.8, 95.5FM, 1584AM, DAB and live on the BBC iPlayer.

If you are interested in joining a ‘Snow Busting Team’ please let me know via email and I will add your name to the list of parent volunteers who are willing to turn up at school with a shovel to help clear the paths around school.
