Dear Parent/Carer

 

Swimming Gala Tuesday 12th February 2019

 

Your child has been given the opportunity to participate in the Nottinghamshire Schools’ Swimming Gala at Bramcote Leisure Centre on Tuesday 12th February 2019.

 

This event will start at 9:30am and we aim to be finished and back at school for approximately 12:30pm. Due to the time that we are returning to school, it would be preferable for your child to have a packed lunch on the day. We will be travelling to the leisure centre on a coach. The children will need to bring with them a water bottle, a towel and the following:

 

Girls:      One piece swimming costume

Boys:     Speedo-type trunks or tight shorts.

 

Please be aware that children with long hair must have it tied back or wear a swimming hat.

 

Please see the attached information regarding goggles. If you wish for your child to wear goggles then you must complete the form and return it along with the slip below.

 

I have also been asked by the County Council to include the photograph consent form as they may wish to use photos of the gala in promotional material.
