Dear Parents,

It is that time in the year when we start to think about musical instrument tuition for next year.

At Round Hill we have a strong musical tradition including a large orchestra, three choirs and many other opportunities available. We also offer pupils in years 4, 5 and 6 the chance to learn a musical instrument.

The lessons take place during the school day and the children are taught in small groups of two or three. We use teachers from INSPIRE for these lessons.

If your child is interested in learning an instrument from September, we are holding a workshop that we would like to invite you and your child to. This is open to Year 3 pupils who will be in Year 4 from September. At the workshop we will be able to give you more information about the lessons and the cost. There will also be a chance to hear some of our children playing their instruments and an opportunity to meet some of the music teachers to ask questions.

The workshop this year will be on Wednesday 1^st May from 3.45- 4.15pm.
