Dear Parent/Carer

 

Wollaton Park - Friday 8th February 2019 - Nottingham High Junior School Invitation Cross Country Races

 

Your child has been given the opportunity to take part in the above Cross Country race which will take place during school time on Friday 8th February 2019 at Wollaton Park. You are more than welcome to attend the event to support your child if you are able. If you do attend, you should park in the main pay and display car park in Wollaton Park.

 

The order of the races is as follows:

1.40pm:                Under 9 Girls (Years 3 and 4)                       1.5km

1.55pm:                Under 9 Boys (Years 3 and 4)                      1.5km

2.10pm:                Under 11 Girls (Years 5 and 6)                     2.0km

2.25pm:                Under 11 Boys (Years 5 and 6)                    2.0km

2.50pm:                Results and presentations

 

The school has arranged for a coach to transport the children to and from the event and we should be back before the end of the school day. Children will need their usual PE kit and suitable trainers which may get very muddy! They should also bring a water proof jacket, warm clothes, such as a tracksuit, and a water bottle for afterwards.

 

Due to the number of children attending, I am also asking if anybody would like to accompany the team to help and possibly help to marshall the event. If you are able to support us then please indicate on the form below.

 

Please complete the below permission slip and return it to me as soon as possible.
