Week beginning 22nd June
Please choose one task from each subject per day. We would love to see what tasks your child has chosen to do at home, so please send these to your child's class teacher via Class Dojo.
There are also some fantastic daily lessons and activities on BBC Bitesize for all ages and subjects.
English Daily Tasks:
Please see the attachments below for this week's English daily tasks. We have also included a reading comprehension with differentiated questions ranging from 1 star - 3 stars in difficulty, children may choose which level questions they wish to have a go at. You will also find some spelling activities below and phonics activities to complete on Purple Mash.
Reading Daily Tasks:
Please read with your child on a daily basis and ask them lots of questions about the events, characters or facts. There is a sheet with some ideas for questions to ask below.
Maths Daily Tasks:
This week we are going to look number and place value. There are a range of activities and games to look at this week. There is no need to do them all. Some of the worksheets are now in picture form, which means you are able to open and complete them in paint instead of printing them out if you would like to. You can, of course still print them too!
Have a look at the following Parent Guide to understand more about the curriculum for this area.

Topic tasks:
This week in topic we are exploring animals at home, specifically looking at animals that have been domesticated. We will also be looking at animals and their young. We would love for the children to design and film their very own animal documentary choosing one or more of their favourite animals to tell us all about. Don't forget to share you ideas and any questions with your class teacher on Dojo! Enjoy.
